To ensure a positive and respectful experience for all our clients and dedicated therapists,
we have established the following policies. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation
in helping us maintain a serene and professional environment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We value your time and the commitment you make to your well-being, and we dedicate specific time slots to each client. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations.
Impact of Late Changes: When appointments are cancelled or missed without adequate notice, our therapists lose valuable appointment time that could have been offered to other clients seeking services.
Cancellation Fees:
- First Instance: A $25 fee will be applied for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Subsequent Instances: The full service fee for the scheduled appointment will be charged.
Future Bookings: We reserve the right to require a credit card on file to secure future appointments, ensuring that appropriate fees can be processed in the event of late cancellations or no-shows.
Understanding Unexpected Circumstances:
We recognize that genuine emergencies, sudden illness, and severe weather can disrupt plans.
- Illness: If you are experiencing a fever, have a known infection, or have had vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, please contact us immediately to cancel. The health and safety of our clients and staff are our top priority.
- Inclement Weather: Please do not compromise your safety to attend an appointment during hazardous weather conditions. We will also strive to provide ample notice if we need to close or cancel appointments due to severe weather.
- Fee Waiver: Late cancellations due to verifiable emergencies, illness, or severe weather will generally not result in a missed session charge. This is determined on a case-by-case basis, and we appreciate your prompt communication.
Professional Conduct & Respect Policy
The services provided at Tamu Health & Wellness are strictly for therapeutic and relaxation purposes. There is absolutely no sexual component associated with our massage therapy services.
Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Behavior: Any form of sexual insinuation, jokes, gestures, inappropriate conversation, or requests will lead to the immediate termination of your session.
Consequences:
- The full service fee for the scheduled session will be charged, regardless of the time elapsed.
- We will refuse any and all future services.
- Depending on the nature of the behavior, we reserve the right to file a report with local law enforcement.
